I have been fascinated by cameras since early childhood, carrying a camera with me everywhere. My professional interest in photography began to show as part of my studies of Scientific & Technical Illustration at Glasgow College of Building and Printing.

As an amateur I was a member of the Dumbarton & District Camera Club for 4 years, winning the 'Photographer Of The Year' award on 3 occasions.

Before turning professional I decided to study photography at Clydebank College and later moving onto Glasgow College of Building and Printing. While still at college, I was asked to photograph my first wedding. Since then wedding photography has been one of my main fields of work.

However, I also work in portraiture, landscape-, architecture- and sports-photography.
